Boards mag FSW+waveboard test trip 10-17 August. After no sailing yesterday there was relief all round when the wind filled in around midday to a solid F5+. Started with 6.3 but soon changed down to 5.8 and then had a solid couple of hours of powered up chop bothering. No waves to speak of but some good jumping and just great to be out in the sunshine in boardies and rashy only. I tried 5 boards during the session and my favourite was the RRD FSW by a mile - so comfy, lively, nippy and superb to gybe.

After a great lunch at "Cafe M" overlooking the bay we tried again with FSWs and 5.8s but the wind had dropped to gusty rubbish so quits was called by all apart from Mungo...whose persistance was rewarded with a late blow for a solid sunset blast. A shame as always to miss the wind but with plenty more forecast for the rest of the week bovvered was I not.
